New Photovoltaic System Operational on the Roofs of the Production and Warehouse Facility in Bramsche
As part of the modernization efforts at the Bramsche site, Sanders-Kauffmann has inaugurated a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system on the roofs of their production and warehouse facility in September 2023. With a total capacity of 733 kilowatts peak (KWp), this installation will make a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions through the utilization of renewable energy sources.
Since its commissioning on September 4, 2023, the photovoltaic system has already generated 19.63 megawatt-hours (MWh) of environmentally friendly electricity, resulting in the avoidance of 7.86 metric tons of CO2 emissions. This represents a substantial step towards a cleaner and more sustainable future. Of the energy produced, 82 percent is consumed on-site for self-use, not only reducing energy costs significantly but also minimizing environmental impacts.
Sanders-Kauffmann takes immense pride in the installation of this photovoltaic system and the positive impacts it has achieved in such a short time. Commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded in the company’s values, and this installation serves as evidence of their determination to actively contribute to reducing their ecological footprint.
Through this project, Sanders-Kauffmann demonstrates its commitment to sustainable climate policies. The continuation of such initiatives will undoubtedly help mitigate the environmental footprint of our industry while also achieving long-term cost reductions.
Sanders-Kauffmann remains dedicated to innovation and sustainability, aiming to set an example for others with similar goals.
