The ventilation openings on the duvet can be opened or closed within seconds by simply turning the duvet upside down. This effect is achieved by the physical falling effect. Tests by the Hohenstein Institute1 have confirmed this effect.
The unique snugness of the duvet gives the sleeper an immediate feeling of security. This snugness is achieved by the 3-dimensional construction which interrupts the surface tension so that the duvet can optimally nestle around the body.

Proven effect confirmed by tests carried out by the Hohenstein Institute1
The summer and winter sides of the CLIMA BALANCE 2.0® were tested in comparison to a conventional baffle box duvet in warmth class 3 (warm). According to the Hohenstein Institute1 tests, the summer side of the duvet corresponds to thermal class 1, while the winter side of the CLIMA BALANCE 2.0® corresponds to thermal class 3.
The thermal insulation on the winter side of the patented CLIMA BALANCE 2.0® down duvet is almost identical to the conventional baffle box duvet of the same design. The relative differences are mainly in breathability and moisture regulation, which are around 13 % higher in the CLIMA BALANCE 2.0®. The summer side of the CLIMA BALANCE 2.0®, on the other hand, is ideal for warmer days due to its lower thermal insulation. Compared to the conventional baffle box duvet of the same design, breathability is around 40 % higher and moisture regulation is around 22 % higher.
