Sanders-Kauffmann
After the successful integration of the Austrian bed feather factory Kauffmann into the traditional Sanders company, we are now making ourselves fit for the future.
We have set ourselves the goal of being a modern company in the bedding industry in the heart of Germany by 2022, a company in which we combine our competences and of which its employees are proud. To this end, an investment plan was adopted in 2019, which provides for the concentration of our activities at the Bramsche site in Lower Saxony. In 2019, we already acquired a majority stake in the bed spring factory ARO Artländer in the nearby town of Kettenkamp. This means that, in addition to fabric production and filling, feather and down processing can also be competently represented within the group of companies.
In the summer of this year, a state-of-the-art washing machine was put into operation in our fabric finishing department, followed in the coming months by a new hall and the modernisation of the rest of the production line as well as the raw materials and finished parts warehouse. In 2022, the final step will be the physical integration of the bed spring operation in Bad Bentheim into the Bramsche site.
All these measures ultimately also contribute to improving the efficiency of internal processes, ensuring a positive contribution to CO2 management and the sustainability of our economic activities.
Good for the region: Sanders-Kauffmann relies on regional suppliers for the conversion and installation work. This strengthens the bond with the local companies and provides security for the future that competent and quick assistance will be available when needed.
The company modernisation is also accompanied by the realignment of the current brand strategy, which we will present shortly, as well as the continuous development of our distribution channels in a global context.
