Construction progress I:
The renovation work at Sanders-Kauffmann continues to develop. While the company has recently carried out many construction measures indoors and thus not visible to the outside, experts are now taking care of the representative outdoor facilities. Now that the courtyard, which is visible from the street, has been paved and framed with freshly laid generous flower beds, work has also begun on the paving at the rear of the building.
It was not an easy undertaking to pave parking and manoeuvring areas of approx. 5800 m² with new stones. In future, not only visitors will be able to park their cars on the company premises, but also employees will have the opportunity to park their vehicles in the immediate vicinity of their workplace; of course, parking areas for bicycles will also be designated and thought has also been given to providing appropriate charging facilities for e-mobility.
Construction progress II:
After another hall has been removed from the company’s old stock, work is now underway on the construction of this very hall. Another production hall with an area of 1200 m² is being built, which is necessary for the relocation of the branch from Bad Bentheim to Bramsche. The investment volume for this construction project is close to a seven-figure sum.
The preparations for the upcoming move are already casting their shadows and the company is getting ready for the approaching Herculean task. Talks with the planners show, however, that the difficult task is being tackled with the necessary respect but also with the certainty that the in-house relocation of the dry fabric finishing has already been completed on time and within budget.
Environment:
In order to achieve the ambitious savings targets in the energy sector, the entire Sanders-Kauffmann company will switch to LED light sources in the future.
The changeover is expected to reduce electricity costs by 25 % – at the same time, the CO2 balance will be improved accordingly.
